dsl ◊ 2016-04-28 20:00	Taken from We Live in Two Worlds 2-DVD set and second volume (of 3) of shorts from The GPO Film Unit, covering the period 1936-1938. Possibly the GPO Film Unit's best known production, with music by Benjamin Britten and the famous poem by WH Auden near the end. The overnight mail train from London to Glasgow which picks up and drops off mail during its journey with a mobile sorting office on board. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHaNTsRfyI8 , http://player.bfi.org.uk/film/watch-night-mail-1936/ , https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_Mail Unfortunately for us, the only entry is a baggage trolley.
