About this case there was a "Polizeiruf 110"-episode from 1974. It was censored by the DDR-authorities, because such kind of criminality should not exist in the socialistic community (in fact it has existed, as everywhere on the world). It was aired the first time in 2011. We already have it here /movie.php?id=1980668 This was the last time in Germany, that the death penalty was carried out to a civil person. It was officiallyabolished in the DDR in 1987. In West Germany it never has existed, in West-Berlin it has, due the Allied occupation laws, but only theoretical. |
