 Tatort has been running since 1970, and I presume that, because the series is divided into sub-series made in various different cities, multiple episodes can be filmed at the same time.

 German movie maker (Directed, writing, producer) don't love cars. :(
So the most of german movies are without (typical) cars.
(Only) by the 'Tatorts' we see all the typical vihicles on typical german roads and streets.
