6-part series filmed in Queensland, set in 1994 and 2019 as a cold case cop unravels an unsolved in a cane sugar town. OK story, but good acting and some excellent photography so the visuals are a treat. Not as stark or as gripping as Mystery Road, but has some of that remote place/isolated community feel in a prettier wrapper.

ep1.01 - goof in 1994 scene for the modern white hatch in background, maybe also same later in ep in "2019"??

 S2 (again 6 eps, set in Queensland) now complete. Another cold case, switching between 2003 and 2024. Underneath it's a fairly unexceptional story and formula with stereotype main characters, but rescued by excellent photography/scenery/visuals, some fascinating side characters with intriguing back stories, unexpected plot quirks, and perceptive direction, all of which kept me hooked. Not a must-see, but recommended if you've nowt else on your watch-list.

Z2 wrote All the plates on this show are clearly fake, as they're in the wrong format and font/lettering style.

Eventually 2 plates produced results, but only one made much sense.
