Very wooden 9 minute film about hazards on country lanes, taken from COI Collection Volume Six: Worth the Risk? (which is my final posting of these COI dvd sets to complete all 8 releases). Can't find a copy of this film online, but you're not missing much. Filmed somewhere near London from the plates, but I think names on vehicles may be faked. Reject - this saloon in distance - if there's any prospect of an ID, I can pull out some more captures as it goes past, but this is the best. They had dogs in 1946 (OK - one dog to be pedantic. Perhaps it was an experimental prototype??) |

this prototype looks quite an improvement compared to the one previously designed for the Far West -- Last edit: 2017-05-21 03:56:24 |

Got my small treat last night....... Went to a beetle drive to raise funds for child cancer sufferers in Belarus, won the wooden spoon for lowest score, won a pink teddy in the raffle and was given a free pie! The pies were hand made, and very good, so I ate both the one included in the ticket price, and the free one. The lady pie maker then offered me a third pie after the game had finished, but I had to decline. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beetle_(game) (For anyone who thinks I have finally let go of reality.) -- Last edit: 2017-05-21 08:49:18 |
