The taxi seen on the sepia action is seen again on the right side of the last still.

The Panhard & Levassor is the core of a 3 minutes long action : no chase but a run through the Champs-Elysées and the nearby Bois de Boulogne.

The director (Jean Epstein) must have been fascinated by speed, as there is too a long sequence in which the car is filmed running at top speed on a long straight line. See L'homme à l'Hispano.
