@Caboverlover What is the point of adding films if all vehicles are unknown to you? For the sake of increasing number of added films? Unknown vehicles then hang in an 'unidentified' section for years. Maybe it's better to leave these films for those who know Soviet vehicles (and I'm not talking about myself)? Please don't take this as an insult. I do not forbid you to add Soviet / Russian films, I just wonder what is the point. -- Last edit: 2021-10-01 19:36:31 |

I like adding films from different countries, but with some of the countries films I add, I am not familiar with their vehicles. I enjoy the variety of vehicles that I come across while doing this, but due to my limited knowledge of the specific country, I add them as unknown. I do not try to rush getting captures from films just to make the added films list longer, but I try to get the films some recognition. |

My view is exactly the opposite. I come on this site to do my best to identify unknown cars, normally British ones. I very rarely watch films of any sort and would not know how to post anything for identification, nothing causes me more grief than a film posted with everything identified. -- Last edit: 2021-10-01 20:03:44 |

Thanks guys for your replies! I got it. I signed to IMCDB to add films that I like but which were not on IMCDB and now I'm here -- Last edit: 2021-10-05 11:29:21 |

I started out in a similar way, adding (mostly) animes that were yet to be on IMCDB... Then before long I realized that the shows I was familiar with (aka shows post-2000) more often than not used the exact same CGI models for their cars regardless of studios... Which is why I've been venturing out to other genres and sometimes countries/continents. -- Last edit: 2021-10-03 12:14:32 |
