No location information on IMDb, but the cars have Virginia license plates and the signpost for the corner of Paddock Lane and Charlestown Drive clinches it as the city of Virginia Beach.

Many of the cars in the movie appear in Google StreetView images of Paddock Lane.

Nah, nope, sorry, I'm more care to the real correction here along with CougarTim having a useful comment that worth for IMDb to update the information of this short; correction is actually this short is about yet another example of a romance relationship gone wrong (at least on what IMDb's plot says), and as for the location and the background cars...

Makes sense, IMDB needs to update their info to have that info soon. Also, interesting info on the identical cars between this and Street View images, but as with other films, I'm sure the film crew of this have received a permission approval for them to film that area at that time, despite the trying times in that year. So, definitely not to worry about privacy of the residents there, as long they are fine to have their cars featured in this short.

Two Dodges, a Saturn(?) and some kind of a BMW X5 [E53]/Oldsmobile Bravada were the only known cars from what I can see there. The blue semi-truck could possibly be a Freightliner Cascadia.
