My mum was an extra in this, she was one of the parents in the audience in the scene in the first episode where Lysander and Marigold go to watch her children performing in the school choir and we get our first real look at Rhona Mitra. However she thought the story was rubbish compared to Jilly Cooper's earlier novels (all her stuff's a bit trashy though isn't it?). Have you covered all the episodes, Stronghold?

This dvd was a freebie from a weekend newspaper.! :) I was expecting rubbish, but actually thought the movie was pretty good.!(Not a sloppy romance.!) Don't know anything about the novels. (as you can guess,it's not my usual type of film :D )

Oh, I thought you'd gotten it off the TV, because I noticed this on one of the digital channels a few days ago. It's good that they give DVDs free with papers now (sometimes I'd buy the paper just for the DVD), although I haven't gotten anything in a while.
