This after all might be a product placement by some of the manufacturers with more recent vehicles. There were definitely pre-war cars in Vietnam after the war. By 1926, Vietnam had 9,504 vehicles. By 1929 - 11K. So there were certainly many thousands of vehicles by the end of the war. Although they were mostly imported from France, there were some US brands (Ford, Chrysler and GM) as well : Link to "vietnamnet.vn" |
