Technically this film is a joint production between those three countries, although it is an English language film. I added this because it is one of Winona Ryder's films, but at the time I didn't list any cars because I couldn't remember any that I recognized. -- Last edit: 2007-01-20 21:19:09 |

By the way when did Tonz add any pictures for this? There aren't even any vehicles listed. |

I'm working on it... |

Oh yes, lovely Noni. Good job Garco! But Tonz, did you actually ever put pictures up for this film, because they weren't there just now. -- Last edit: 2007-07-14 19:52:53 |

The film hasn't been listed yet afaik. Garco did a fresh entry with the pics I made. |

Oh I'm sorry, I thought these were Garco's pictures. In that case, well done Tonz! I thought I'd already added this film, but then it was probably deleted. -- Last edit: 2007-01-20 22:30:22 |

The story is set in an unnamed South American country that is almost, but not quite, Chile. Author Isabelle Allende is the niece of Chilean President Salvador Allende, who was killed in the US-backed military coup in September 1973. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salvador_Allende The film was shot on location in Portugal and at studios in Denmark. http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0107151/locations -- Last edit: 2007-01-21 00:04:15 |

that explain some cars that i NEVER see here... |
◊ 2007-01-21 01:14 |
This was set 30-50 years ago, unless you still use old cars over there (isn't that the case in Cuba?). |
◊ 2007-01-21 01:24 |
IIRC the story begins in the 1930s and ends in the 1970s. |
◊ 2007-01-21 01:30 |
30-70 years ago then. |

Not really And actually even in Cuba they have recent cars, cf /movie_441297-Habana-Blues.html (though there are still lots of old ones) -- Last edit: 2007-01-21 11:53:27 |

Can Tönz add the Borgward car. It's a station-wagon edition and I think it's a very rarely seen car and very few survived. |
◊ 2007-01-21 19:34 |
Tönz cannot as he is not admin, but you can add it if you think it is worth to mention it on its own page |
