1935 commemorative film made in and around a village north of Aberdeen to mark Silver Jubilee of King George V. Not on imdb, but several online sources eg Link to "movingimage.nls.uk" . Also known as Whin-Mill at Menie House - https://vimeo.com/95136405 , http://conservation.historic-scotland.gov.uk/video-detail?vidid=11505 - but probably an error taken from the first caption card as those versions have no opening title page. 43 minutes long, with first 30 minutes the proper film and then various other local segments by the same producer tacked on to the end - some recurring vehicles in these end bits. Much of the area shown in the film around Belhelvie and Balmedie has been destroyed in last few years to create "Trumpton" (the Trump International Golf Links) with Menie House and estate at its centre. Reject 2* truck - SA 7036 = mid-20s Aberdeen plate Unfortunate caption card |
