With the various versions of the Lancia D50 I don't there is a right and wrong answer to the indentity. According to this - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lancia_D50 - they started as lancia D50s but when Ferrari took over they became Lancia-Ferrari D50s and then Ferrari D50s. It might be simpler to keep them all together as Lancia D50s as the dates of change are not documented? Unlike in the modern era the cars had different numbers for different races so some can be indentified by their number to fix the venue the picture was taken. -- Last edit: 2011-11-11 02:25:06 |
