Wow, no comments or photos? This movie is filled with cars. I mean, the scene at rental car parking lot, for instance.

I know for sure that there are rear shots of the Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable in that parking lot scene, so could someone please get some pics.

I have this movie on video tape which I should be able to transfer to DVD and get pictures by the weekend if nobody can do it before then.

Vehicles in the movie as I remember them, in addition to the airport parking lot (also incudes the transfer bus).
The rental car in the 'wrong-way' scene that then catches fire.
New York taxicab at the start.
Customised taxi to the motel.
Ride in the back of a farmers pickup truck.
Trailer-truck at the end for the final drive into Chicago for Thanksgiving Day.
I wouldn't remember the actual vehicles used or be able to try to identify them without seeing the movie as its years now since I've seen it.

That's great! Of course the picture quality isn't as good with vhs, but if someone can get some screenshots from a dvd instead, that would be even better. :)

Plus, one car that has not been mentioned is the police car used by Michael McKean. I'm pretty sure its a Dodge Diplomat.

The Braidwood Inn was filmed in nearby Braidwood, Illinois (on the outskirts of the Chicagoland area, on the southwest side) right along I-55, not in Wichita, Kansas as indicated in the film. It is now called the "Sun Motel".

The Home Alone house was a different one. The one in PT&A was located at the end of a street.
