Wow, no comments or photos? This movie is filled with cars. I mean, the scene at rental car parking lot, for instance. |

I know for sure that there are rear shots of the Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable in that parking lot scene, so could someone please get some pics. |

I have this movie on video tape which I should be able to transfer to DVD and get pictures by the weekend if nobody can do it before then. Vehicles in the movie as I remember them, in addition to the airport parking lot (also incudes the transfer bus). The rental car in the 'wrong-way' scene that then catches fire. New York taxicab at the start. Customised taxi to the motel. Ride in the back of a farmers pickup truck. Trailer-truck at the end for the final drive into Chicago for Thanksgiving Day. I wouldn't remember the actual vehicles used or be able to try to identify them without seeing the movie as its years now since I've seen it. |

I will add further vehicles when I can search the complete movie. |

That's great! Of course the picture quality isn't as good with vhs, but if someone can get some screenshots from a dvd instead, that would be even better. ![]() Plus, one car that has not been mentioned is the police car used by Michael McKean. I'm pretty sure its a Dodge Diplomat. |

The Braidwood Inn was filmed in nearby Braidwood, Illinois (on the outskirts of the Chicagoland area, on the southwest side) right along I-55, not in Wichita, Kansas as indicated in the film. It is now called the "Sun Motel". ![]() The Home Alone house was a different one. The one in PT&A was located at the end of a street. |
