I will, ahight. I know I've seen it.

BTW, where is it? He has had about 4 houses. The first I'm not sure, but one is located at Universal Studios in CA. The third is also a Craftsman. I've heard it is on Lord Street in Southport NC, which is near Wilmington NC. Is this the same one?

The one in my photo is on Adams St in Wilmington which is close to Southport. The owner told me that they added things to the porch just for the show. It's funny that it looks similar to your geocities link on Universal Studio's Colonial St. Did he move in the series, or did they just switch his house?

It could be from one of the Matlock movies. I'm currently watching "The Witness Killings" (1991) which IMDB says was filmed here in Wilmington, NC.

That house on the Colonial St. was once painted white with green trim and was used in several episodes. I don't know of him moving and most of the houses in the series were similar and in similar color.

Watched 2 episodes from Season 7 (one called The Divorce 7.15) which I guess would be a 3rd house he's lived in. It looks more like the one here in NC than the one on the Colonial St link.

Episode 7.14 (The Obsession) they use the Wilmington Court House. They stand by the fountain seen from Water St. and he walks up Market St. when the lady comments that he walked by a hotdog cart without even looking at it. Maybe this is the house in Southport. If they used the one in Wilmington for Season 8 or 9, then I wonder if they got sick of driving back and forth to Southport.

It is the 3rd house, and I agree that it is probably the one in Southport. It does look alot like the one on Adams St. The only other one that could be in Southport is the one used in the first season.

I'd never seen today's episode. It answered alot of questions for me. The beginning seemed familiar, but the rest wasn't. I noticed they used Billy's beach house again, I'm surprised.

I notice the eagle isn't over the door on the tv show.

In today's episode (The Target), that blue house mentioned above is the house they break the door down in and find the guy on the floor. The other smaller white house is on the same street. The scene where the cops arrive there's a short white(left) and tall white house(right) in the background on the same street.

I just noticed that in the picture above of the 1988 Crown Victoria there is no eagle over the porch in that picture, but I was watching a 1991 episode and there was. They must have added it to that house later. I wonder if it is the same eagle that is on the door of the house in the 9th season? I'm surprised it wasn't removed when they got done filming.

I'll check with the owner next time I see her and ask about the eagle. I noticed in a couple Season 9 episodes where they show the older house after one commercial break and then the newer after the next. I'm just sad Season 9 is over. My next goal will be going on the studio tour and seeing if they still have the interior scenes set. I thought I read they did. It's funny that he never moved (or did he?) but he had 3 different house - all with the same interior. :)

Next summer this building will be no more. They're taking down the old Wachovia building to build new condos. So part of the Matlock and Maximum Overdrive history will be gone. (which i'm happy for since it's an ugly building-compared to what it replaced)

It was a opening credit sequence for that episode. These clips was probably pulled from other movie/tv show owned by the CBS/Paramount production.

Photobucket doesn't lose pictures but it's quicker to view the pics on the server than to connect to photobucket, which is usually slow.

A noble effort but there's actually plenty of space. The comments section is the problem. ;)

I was referring more to a hypothetical situation in which photobucket might lose pictures. Point is, I would think it would be safer to upload them to our system than to an outside one.

Nobody is forcing you to "conform" or to do anything. We were just wondering why you continue to use photobucket when we have our own system specifically for uploaders such as yourself, which in the long run may be safer and faster to use. But if you want to continue using photobucket, then go ahead.

@rjluna I use photobucket myself sometimes, if you prefer it don't switch. It's because 1. they're safer (antp does back-ups) and 2. they're easier to view by other users.
