@karoomay: Here's the trailer for Ruba Nadda's new film Inescapable, a thriller about an exiled Syrian secret policeman who returns to Damascus to find his missing daughter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qzdMCuFptc&feature=player_embedded The film was shot in South Africa, so no doubt there will be inappropriate cars and "cobbled" locations, as ingo would say. .gif ":)") Apparently Nadda wanted to film it in Jordan, but producers there advised her to go elsewhere. Interesting. I'm curious to see the final product of this movie, if I have a chance to get a hold of it. I would probably spend more than half of the time pointing out inaccuracies in this movie, mainly with cars and locations that do not match Damascus (I already saw quite a few errors in the trailer)  , although some actual stock footage of Damascus was used. -- Last edit: 2013-01-05 04:30:55 |
