If you are referring to the pictures, this is the "Polizia" (=Police). .gif ";)") https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polizia_di_Stato The "Carabinieri" are another very different and separate thing.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CarabinieriAnyway, I can't tell you the exact year, but I believe that in the second half of the 70s, both uniforms and liveries were changed to blue (which was already partially used in some cases, if I'm not wrong) and military green was abandoned. |

Since 1972 were new police cars painted in blue and white (and Carabinieri one in dark blue with a white top since 1971) but the older ones were respraied later. The very last one lost the old green colour in 1976. -- Last edit: 2018-06-22 19:17:55 |
