God people were/are obsessed with "A Real Hero" by College in this movie. I was listening to College way before this movie came out and I remember seeing only one comment on itunes for the EP this song was on. I was first attracted to them because of their album art for their EP Teenage Color. I feel like the 80s theme in this movie is forced and they just did it so they could play these songs and have pink 80s font on the poster. The 80s theme aside it reminded me of A History of Violence while also using a Chrysler 300 as the antagonist vehicle. |

Getting pretty tired of the people who feel the need to inform everyone about how they listened to college and the chromatics and etc. before Drive. I don't know why you listen to a band you can't stand to see succeed and I don't care. I also don't know why everyone makes such a big deal about the "80's theme" of the movie, the music is all modern, it's got the risky business font for the title but that's hardly something out of place nowadays. |
