(I've done it a few time for ford models ... also sorting out model numbers ... I don't know if you noticed with ford cortina's ... some were listed as MK1 ..some as mk.1 ...others as MK.I ... + some without a MK.!! ...so I tried to sort them out better.!) It takes time ... but looks a hell of a lot better ..when in order.!

For Jaguar we chosed "Mk.", but for most of the others it is more or less randomized. I think that for the Ford the Mk1, Mk2, etc. are better than the roman numbers. And in all cases I would write "Mk" rather than "MK". But then it remains a possibility: with a dot between Mk and the number, or without

wrenchhead ◊ 2006-03-04 20:16	It could it be done by year and episode if you change the movie title something like: "Chips (1977 Episode 1.1)" , "Chips (1977 Episode 1.2)", "Chips (1981 Episode x.x)"etc. The IMDB reference would be the same for all. I don't know that much about the site design but it should work, should keep the pages manageable and still let a search find all the years and episodes if you search for "Chips".

There's still series 6 to do, but I'll have to wait til it comes out on Region 2 DVD, it hasn't even been on TV in this country yet.

yoda ◊ 2007-07-27 04:50	A lot of the "ordinary" background cars repeat a lot, especially in the freeway scenes (I'm watching the first season on DVD, and there's a gray Datsun 510 wagon I'm noticing over and over again. The reason for this is, the freeway chases and crashes were filmed on incomplete sections of road not yet opened to the public. Any cars you see in the background here would've been arranged by the production company. All types of cars were used, but generally only full-size American cars, older models but not TOO old, were crashed because the stuntmen preferred to work with them.
