I re-watched the movie to add some missing cars, and also include more interesting background cars, even if this page was already quite complete.

First part of my message was about Mazda dealer, where there are lots of cars but we do not see much of them (too fast, blurred, only roofs, ...)

Second part was about a non-planned crash in the Cadillac dealer, as related on IMDB's trivia page, and I was suggesting that it could be the crash as shown on the picture.

Greetings fellows!I am Heywood and I'm also new here. I would say that this is an interesting site to explore for pictures. My speciality is putting the year, name, and manufacturer on classic cars, classic muscle cars, and semi trucks. So if you have any problems that fall into the 7 catagories that I mentioned, please notify me thanks!

That 1969 Plymouth Satellite is actually a 1968 Plymouth Belvedere. You can see the badges on the patrol cars throughout the film.

This web site missed a car. In the scence where the mustang is blocked and stopped by police in the park. Just as the mustang leaves the park, it barely misses a green AMC AMX parked on the street. The camera gets a full shot of the AMX as the mustang leaves the park.

The yellow mustang (Elenor) is a 1971 Mustang fastback playing the part of a 1973 Mustang Mach 1, so technically it's both.

And there's the Cadillac that spins "elenor" into the telephone pole as well. (that was actually a stunt gone bad, but Halicki liked it and kept it in the movie. Also, Halicki compressed his spine in the big jump and ended up preforming the jump twice. The first one the mustang's gas pedal jammed when it landed and the car went into a donut. They left both jumps in the movie. He walked with a limp for rest of his (r.i.p.) life 'cause of that jump.

There was this Hot Rod seen here on the highway in a short scene. Hard to tell what it is, looks like a Customized Ford Model Y:

I believe it's a '33-'34 Ford, all right. There's also a nice El Camino visible during one of those "through the windshield" shots...a '68 or '69 SS396, to be specific, in bronze with black trim.

Apparently the crash in the Mercedes dealership wasnt planned either, the dealers thought they were going to drive through nicely

I found some photos that we could use. I also found a photo of H.B. Halicki with the police chopper along with other behind the scenes photos.
