Film about Cosa Nostra and Italian clans in New York in 1930-1950's. Released same year as the Godfather. One of Charles Bronson's first major roles on film. I have never seen so many goofs as in this film. In 1930's scenes there are 1970's cars and they are not even trying to hide it. It's a pity because it really gives an impression that the film was done with left hand and minimal funding (which isn't the case in this one). |

Can someone ID the hood mascot of this car ? |

I saw this movie when it first appeared and still remember the goofs with the wrong era cars, particularly the scenes looking out the rear window of a car. |

The mascot is 1930-31 Cadillac. Mrcadillac will hopefully confirm that. From pictures I have seen I think it was not a standard item.
