The aspect ratio doesn't look quite right. |

indeed I'll resize them edit: done; it is easier as I can directly copy files from/to the ftp -- Last edit: 2008-03-13 14:48:31 |

What ratio is preferred for resizing? I previously removed the embedded black bars and noticed the pictures were distorted, but wasn't sure of which ratio to use. |

The ratio which makes wheel appear round and cars normally shaped This depends on the movie, I mentioned most common ones there: Link to "forum.imcdb.org" (for this movie you sent pics with a 2.0 ratio, and they seemed correct with a 2.35 ratio) |

According to the IMDB, the ratio for Tora! Tora! Tora! is 2.35 : 1. http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0066473/technical |

A much better film about the attack on Pearl Harbor than that terrible Michael Bay film. |

Indeed, probably the best film account of Pearl Harbor so far, no bias towards either side and more importantly no overwrought love triangles Titles: Lots of airplanes: Japanese planes, all of which were built out of North American T-6s and Vultee BT-13s and are mostly flying today: American planes: Curtiss P-40 Warhawk (most of these were props, built specifically to taxi and be blown up) The crash in this scene was unintentional- the remote controlled plane went haywire and hit the row of parked planes, sending the stunt men running for their lives: Boeing B-17: Consolidated PBY Catalina: Unknown biplane: unknown seaplane (a prop): |
