It had already been debated I think These films ARE NOT pornographics films ... and you should watch one of them one time to make your own opinion -- Last edit: 2008-04-20 23:31:39 |

N495US is a Boeing 727-51C (1966) operated by the Northwest Orient Airlines. A brown-white single-engined Piper PA-24 Comanche (1957-72) and a duck-egg coloured twin-engined Cessna Model 310 (1954-80). CF-KXV is a Cessna Model 172 (1959). N3169T is a Cessna Model 177 Cardinal (1967). N7900S is a Beechcraft S35 Bonanza (1965). Not a Cessna Model 180 Skywagon (1953-81) or possibly Model 185 Skywagon (1961-85), as I first thought, but a Cessna Model 170 (1948-56) as Jim explains below. The funny thing is even though Russ Meyer fans argue that his work isn't pornographic (and I'm not saying it is), they still watch it to be titillated, don't they? And that's the same reason people watch porn. -- Last edit: 2008-04-21 16:51:18 |

I think, somewhere else over here there was told the German translation of the (phonetic) film-title? It belongs quite good to the Russ-Meyer-films. And over here in the imperative, it makes it real funny. -- Last edit: 2008-04-21 18:39:36 |

Pretty sure the Cessna taildragger is a late 170 (single strut). Note the rounded "clover leaf" elevator compared to the rectangular style of the 180/185. The 180/185 series is a larger (than pictured) aircraft like a 3/4 ton truck compared to a 1/2 ton. Sits higher, larger prop hub etc...the 185 would have a 3 bladed prop. 180/185 is a GREAT airplane! |

It's a fine line between the two. |

I have no problem with pornographic films, I do not judge.... but I do not consider it as art as we can consider cinema is (the 7th isn'it). Therefore the line is there... now I do not blame any people who would like the porns, but personally I prefer to watch a Russ Meyer film than a porn... and I 'm certainlly more titillated with it |

Thanks for the info, Jim, you are of course right. I missed the bars over the air-intake: but it seems later versions used a sightly different design in that respect. |

I don't know the 170s that well (I fly a C180J) but the cowl intake did change a bit with different grilles and fins. The smaller insert above shows the rounded tail sections really well and the paint scheme is from the 1956 model. Fun airplanes. Jim |
