 Cette comédie gentille et drôle a certainement été tournée pendant l'été 1967 — les nombreuses scènes à la mer exigeaient un temps agréable — mais est sortie en mars 1968.

On peut reconnaître des extérieurs réalisés sur tout le littoral méditerranéen français, de Collioure à la Seyne-sur-Mer (a rade de Toulon) en passant par l'Aude et l'Hérault (Béziers, Agde, l'étang de Thau, Sète) pour utiliser le Canal du Midi. On fait même une escapade dans la baie de St-Malo pour la séquence inaugurale censée se passer à San-Remo, à en croire fr.wikipedia qui fournit parfois d'intéressantes informations sur les films français.

Well, actually IMDb was good too, on the subject, though they miss Saint-Malo.

The whole French mediterranean seashore has been used for the making of the movie, from Collioure to Toulon. And we have also the opening sequence made in Bay of Saint-Malo (a makeshift for San-Remo).
