The Fords on this show apparently came from an LA-area Ford dealer as part of an arrangement with the show's producers and Ford. I've noticed even older Fords on the show, suggesting they may have come from the dealer's used car lot. When they didn't have enough cars, they'd get crew members to loan their personal cars, which explains the non-Fords that pop up from time to time like the '59 Chevy Impala that almost runs over Barney during a first season episode. |
