Addressing the Nation DVD set - vol 1 (1933-35) of 3 BFI compilation sets of shorts from The GPO Film Unit.

Excellent 11-minute film about the new Royal Mail development of Air Mail services from Croydon airport (now Gatwick) instead of previously having to send everything by ship. imdb says 1935 but DVD says 1934 which matches when the service started. Sadly not on youtube and you have to be a member of the Tufty club to watch it on BFI, but it may be worth signing up to see this. youtube does have two Pathe clips here and here which have footage of the ceremonial launch of Air Mail from Croydon so show many of the same items, although there is no shared footage with this film which seems to be a normal day soon after the service started with no VIPs or ceremony shown.

one-off Royal Mail Air Service Car BLB 444, bodied by Duple on a Morris-Commercial chassis, and modelled by Dinky as #34a. Sadly not seen in this film, and apparently not in our collection.

Update - we now have a sighting in our collection.

 Plane 4 looks to be a Wibault 282. Seems there were variations on the shrouding of the engines.

 Plane 4 may be a French-built Junkers JU-52 by Avions Amiot - http://www.kegresse.dk/static.php?page=Croydon-airport (top photo). Planes 1 and 2 seem to be Handley-Page HP42 or HP45.

Your link is wrong : F-AMHL is a Wibault 280.T12.
Amiot built Junkers Ju 52 during the German Military Administration in France then as AAC-1 after WW2.
So in AirPost (1934), nzcarnerd is near the truth as F-AMHP is a another Wibault 280.T12 (other registration ending with B or H or R don't give multi-engine aircraft).
