A pretty basic story (a young monk, ejected from his monastery, has to face the real world where he meets evil kung fu adepts but also some benevolent masters), but whoever likes choreographed fights with physically implausible movements and people able to run on water should like this film :)

The period when the action takes places is unsure. Vehicles are from 1920s to early 1950s, but IMDb says 1930s. This said, having early 1950s vehicles in an alleged 1930s period wouldn't be the only goof of this movie: anyone expecting a time consistency in some (or most?) scenes will face big disappointments :D

I suspect that most of the vehicles are made for movie models. But I know very little about cars and trucks of the relevant period, so I preferred give some of them their own page. If really to obviously fake models for experts, I'll downgrade the concerned vehicles to comment pictures in this page.
The Traction belongs to both categories: real model when seen from afar and in "smooth" action, it has an ugly stunt double when He Anxia jumps on it.

The cars are accurate by the standards of Chinese films, but according to Wikipedia driving on the left was the rule throughout China in the 1930s.

The car with the "1509" plate at 00:05 is a replica from Shanghai Film Park http://www.shfilmpark.com/en/list.aspx?nid=56 and is probably the car in /vehicle_918201.html

Their bumpers are indeed similar, but they are different cars, I think:
1509
∗ headlamp fixation on a bar,
∗ no additional lamps on the fenders,
∗ thin (or at least normal) windshield pillars.

2134
∗ headlamp fixation on the fender,
∗ additional lamps on the fenders,
  ∗ thick windshield pillars.
