They are rare in Europe, too. Maybe it's -due the language- different in Spain and Portugal, but I cannot remember any specific South American movie, seen here. O.k., I'm not a cineast either, so my knowledge is very poor about movies at all. For any unknown reason, a few German TV-stations have started with showing "Bollywood"-stuff. No ideay why, maybe the bought it cheap. |

I think, in my view, that despite two Oscar and other awards of the Argentine films are not seen in more places because of lack of money, interest or because they get bored with the typical script "80/90s crisis that came the country down economically", and similar melodramas. Although good, some people like it, I lately, I watch more movies, all in all, it is more realistic typical script to be "crap" filled with special effects and unreal. Above all, the cinema is not at all "protected" and movies good, it takes too much power to reach the big screen to be displayed, due to very little promotion. -- Last edit: 2010-09-23 21:10:30 |
