This movie is just plain crap.

Just another example of how Uncreative Hollywood is nowadays. They simply ruined the original movie. Not that the original French movie was a masterpiece, actually it was pretty dumb, but, this is even dumber.

The only highlights are Jennifer Esposito, Giselle Bundchen and the other gang models. They were HOT!

Oh and the BMWs were nice too.

Yes it was a quite bad remake :/ The choice of a Ford Crown Victoria is already bad. They could have taken something less common. In the original one the white Peugeot 406 is not common (Mercedes-Benz are more common as taxis).

Si ça, c'est pas une descente en flammes...

Si même cet original français est meilleur...[Image: asterix_.gif] où va le Monde?

In the special fetures, Jimmy Fallon says "The French made the first Taxi in 1998 and they loved it. Now were going to Americanise it, and make them hate it." just what happened!

Also, there are some other Crown Vics in this film, with gray bumpers, which means a different year.

Technically the "main" taxi should have had grey bumpers as well being a 2000 model, but the makers of the film were careless and didn't choose an authentic NYC taxi, even when the entire film is based upon that car...
