It was definitely a strong pilot in my opinion. There was a lot of humor and intrigue. I don't know how I feel about the female lead yet, but we'll see where it goes. You should check it out. |

I missed the pilot. The previews looked good, plus I always thought Diane Kruger was a good actress (National Treasure 1 and 2, Unknown, Host, etc.). |

Demian Bichir sucks..... |

Thanks for that constructive comment. He was quite good in this show. I thought he carried the pilot as opposed to Diane Kruger. But then again, some of it is due to the characters they portray. |

Remake of: /movie_1733785-Bron-Broen.html First The Killing, now this. Seems that Scandinavian drama is in fashion for US remakes as well as being in vogue in general (in the UK at least, as most of these series are broadcast and critically acclaimed here). |

The first Scandinavian drama I ever watched was Noggin The Nog - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bKAYH3Sl8s&list=PL0E04012D6A2E1CE8 . I'm still waiting for the remake .... |

Had a chance to watch the pilot (on-demand) and it was quite good. Marco (Bichir) was humble, and respectful - while Sonya (Kruger) was awkward, arrogant, and by-the-book. Complete opposite. I wonder if the death of her sister she mentioned has something to do with her behavior. She seems cold and somewhat distant – as if something (from her past?) is nagging her. There is obviously something wrong. The story itself was engaging, well planned out. I bet the original is really good. |
