In today's press conference, it was confirmed that Christoph Waltz plays Bond's archenemy Ernst Stavro Blofeld.
Before filming of this new Bond movie starts in two days time, unknown criminals stole five Range Rover which were prepared for the filming at Land-Rover Germany in the city of Neuss.

Also, the Aston Martin DB10 was unveiled at the announcement, so safe to assume it will appear in the movie.

Someone's quick of the mark with hot news - I just read 10 minutes ago on teletext that the film name had been announced.
robi wrote .... unknown criminals stole five Range Rover which were prepared for the filming

So of course they're going to be replaced with more sodding Range Rovers and Evoques - booooring!! It would be much more fun if they rushed to the local car auction and bought up whatever came up for sale - an assortment of Nissans, Kias, Skodas, Hyundais, Ssangyongs etc and drove the pants off those instead.

And that DB10 is no beauty compared to previous Astons ..... someone's dropped the ball there.

Some months ago someone stole 9 cars from the production, including several Range Rovers which were being prepared for an action sequence. Some time later, North Korean hackers stole an early version of the script and posted it on the Internet. Then they had to delay the shooting of some scenes in London due to New Year celebrations in the city. And yesterday it was announced that Rome`s authorities denied them the permission to shoot some parts of a car chase near historical buildings, so they will have to redesign the scene, and Daniel Craig was injured during filming, too...

Actually I don't seeing things like Kias and Hyundais as product placement in movies (but then I'm not a fan of stuff like that anyway). For example in Premium Rush, the villain, who is an NYPD Detective, drives a Mazda. It just looks out of place and doesn't suit the character, so this makes it a more blatant piece of product placement than if he'd driven any American car. And Men in Black II with the Mercedes E-Class, when all the other MIB cars are Ford LTD Crown Vics.

Those sticking out rear wheels on the Aston look a bit funny, but I'm sure there'll be a reason for them. That car probably does 200mph. It's like some people complained about the way the Ferrari Enzo looked, not seeming to realise the aim was to make it extremely fast rather than beautiful.

I say be thankful the current gritty, down-to-Earth Bond, stripped of most of the out-of-this-world gadgetry, still drives an Aston Martin.

The DB10 is actually a bespoke car made specially for the film, rather than the replacement for the DB9. The company website Link to "www.astonmartin.com" says they're going to make 10 of them, but I wonder if those are all going to be for the film (and most of them will get wrecked)

There have been complaints about the condition of some of the Rome locations:
Quote But writing on the Basta Cartelloni blog, campaigners suggest that a number of landmarks need vital attention if Bond is not to find himself racing past evidence of dilapidation and decay. Photographs show the Ponte Sisto appearing dirty and adorned with graffiti and garbage, while the nearby Tiber Farnesina street (where a car chase is due to take place) appears to be in a similar state.
“With Rome having presumably known the filming dates for months, why have they not yet resolved the issues with the shoot locations?” asks the blog post author. “Were the relevant authorities not alerted in time to allow them to get these walls cleaned? Do Rome’s mayor Ignazio Marino, the president of the region Nicola Zingaretti and culture minister Dario Franceschini really want this to be the backdrop for Spectre’s filming?”

Definitely worth mentioning is the Porsche 959 in the Spectre HQ parking lot as well as the DBS from Casino Royale in the MI6 HQ. Also a Peugeot 106 near the end, a 406 after the helicopter crash and a 107 at the very end. The DB5 appears in a 2-3 star-role.

Gamer wrote Also a few scooters in this movie, of course. :D

Right after Q says "Oh shit," you can see one turning left in the aerial view, then there are some that the Jaguar knocks over and when Bond takes off the roof of what I believe was an Alfa 159, you can see an Aprilia Scarabeo like this: /vehicle_595606-Aprilia-Scarabeo.html the only scooter I was able to identify.

Was it a DBS? I think it was more like a Rapide or the new DB9... not sure.
In the parking lot there was also a white Ferrari 355 Spider with black rear bumper, if I recall correctly (like the one in Goldeneye).

Quite a useful pic on 007.com with an interview with Chris Corbould, looks like the black Aston in Q's lab is a DB9, good side view showing no rear doors so not a Rapide and not enough vents etc on the front for a DBS

I concur. Looks like a DB9 in that scene. Also a few motorcycles that I can't make out in the other bays, and maybe a trike.
Edit: Looks like one of the bikes is a Norton Dominator SS

Looks like there's also a McLaren 12C in the first row. Get a clearer shot of it between pillars as Bond walks up to the building.

Sorry. It's just after Hinx's Jaguar jumps over the Alfa Romeo 166 that Bond ripped the top off of with his DB10. In that alley, Bond looks in his rearview to see the front of a truck emerge from a side street to block Hinx's Jag. Just before Bond turns down the alley with the row of unknown motor scooters. Like I said, I'm pretty certain it's CG, but figured I'd check.

The few that would still be OK are those that I included in comments above when I updated the pics, but as I didn't list them back then there is no reason to re-add them now.
If you really wish you can still post the pics here in comments.
