19 minute tribute made for the fourth centenary of Shakespeare's birth. Taken from

BFI/COI Collection Vol 5: Portrait of a People 2-DVD set. If you like Shakespeare, it's probably wonderful. However I've never got past being force-fed far too much of his stuff at school and am still amazed that the world seems stuck in such a time warp of redundant hero worship. But my reaction to the Beatles is similar bored scepticism, so maybe I should just sit quietly in the naughty corner.

Good grief Snoopy! We agree on something.

The only popular beat combo more overrated than the Beatles is the Rolling Stones. Yawn.

So our two minds are also as one - from memory - on Marston's Pedigree, Mandelson, Lancia Flavia coupes, and Staffordshire oatcakes. An assorted list ....... Can the boundaries of rapprochement be pushed further with this?

For some reason the item will not open for me. From the picture, which is overwritten with "not available" or somesuch, I gather it may be a guitar version, which is a step too far for me. I have never really liked the things, especially mains powered ones. Gas or steam is better.

Guitar and banjo?

Andrés Segovia and George Formby presumably.

That page doesn't seem to open either. Nor does Ian's bus stop, and my isp hasn't a clue why.
( btw I do know George played the uke, but a joke's a joke. )
