Strange thing about this childrens tv show is their are no children in it at all ! It's about an elderly incompetent doctor and his many literal prat falls who has a succession of three housekeepers. Pat Coombs, the thinking man’s crumpet! Probably not. One of those ladies who seemed, for no apparent reason, to become a fixture in this sort of lowish budget stuff. Other examples, Joan Sanderson, Irene Handl, Patricia Hayes, and Dora Bryan, all of whom managed to be there or thereabouts without quite reaching the dizzy heights.
