 Set in 1982. I'd list the first thumb, since the camera lingers on it for a while...

American remake "Let Me In" is currently playing, apparently equally good.

Definately recommend this and Let Me In, one of the best films of 2010.

 I was rather disappointed by "Let Me In", it missed a lot of subtleties of the original.
