All the cars except the "yellowish" ones and the one star Volvo Amazon are taken from the dramatized parts. I think it's a very good and well made series with lots of cool cars and props from the time periods the crime stories take place. Too bad the only video quality available is the one from the VHS recordings made when it was shown on Swedish TV in the the 1990s. As for the stock footage, it's very interesting too as it's taken from original TV news reports from the actual crimes. I guess it all comes from SVT as they were the only one sending TV broadcasts in the Sweden until the late 1980s. Brottsplats Sverige was produced by the rival commercial TV company TV4. There may lay the answer why it's never been released on home media. The series has 23 episodes. There was also a book released based on the series but the book just included the most well known of the cases. I've not captured cars from all of the episodes. For VHS quality these ... /vehicle_977039-Chevrolet-Chevy-Van.html /vehicle_977038-Volvo-940.html are a good size. (around 640) Others are definitely too big. |

Someone has updated the TVDB entry on Brottsplats Sverige. It ran for 3 seasons, 8 episodes in season 1 and 7 episodes in 2 and 3, between 1995 and 1998.
