Minimal budget production, wooden presentation, no-one sorted consistent aspect ratios so pictures keep changing format, monotonous backing music etc. But despite all that, it's a fascinating story of how and why villages across Britain disappeared within living memory - some well known, others un-noticed. Rejects: - MG?? - 1993-ish Rover 214 or similar - Fiat Stilo - Blackpool tram Planes for impdb - both relate to the demolition of the village of Charlton after the end of WW2 to extend the runway at (Bristol) Filton for the Bristol Brabazon prototype. Which was ironic because the Brabazon successfully flew from a third of the length built for it. And now the runway has been partly dug up for housing, with a new village of Charlton Hayes springing up. 1] Lots of footage of the Brabazon's maiden flight (there's a clue in some of the pictures) 2] Concorde (built at Filton) 3] Barra airfield on the beach, Outer Hebrides - often seen in docs
