Wait, IMCDb includes steam engines? There is no difference between these steam engines, to trains, except that one runs on dirt and one runs on metal strips.

That makes a huge difference :p
Or you could say that you list Diesel trains because they use the same fuel as 50% of the cars running in West-Europe? :D

The Great Dorset Steam Fair at night:

The fairground rides and all the lights are powered by showmans's engines!

With great reluctance I refrained from giving this Land-Rover its own page:

... well, it lacks three wheels, ... and an engine, ... a body, ... okay, a chassis, too, ... but the rest is definitely a Land-Rover, probably 109" Series II.

Wait, it makes a huge difference because one moves on metal, and the other on dirt?

No, it makes a difference because one has a steering wheel, the other hasn't.

antp, je croyais qu'on devait pas rentrer les documentaires non listés sur imdb?? Tu vas pas me dire que ce doc a plus d'interet que ce dont je t'ai parlé. Non? lol

Actually the TGV has a steering wheel :D Cf pics posted on /movie_90228-Le-telephone-sonne-toujours-deux-fois.html
But it is not free to go out of its track.

Alexander >> what kind of documentary is it? As it is not listed on IMCDb, isn't that a too-obscure/unknown thing that is not easy to get? I ask that because Rinspeed asked me if he could post a documentary from a DVD sold in newspaper kiosks and other similar shops.

I was amazed to find that it was not listed, as quite a few other films featuring Fred Dibnah are included: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0225139/
I bought the DVD in an ordinary shop. It has even got an EAN code: 5034504701779, and can still be bought: http://www.woolworths.co.uk/ww_p2/product/index.jhtml?pid=20133678

I might get some more of his DVDs in the future. There are still a few steam engine makes missing, and this doc provided eight new makes in 55 minutes! :)

I have got some other documentaries on that subject, but on video tape. First I will provide pictures that I have on DVD, even though the quality is sometimes not better.

Note for Alex: I've just posted a couple of pic's to you (forum: private mail) of my grandad working with two traction engines, which I hope you can help identify (for me and my family) Thanks Steve
